Yangyang Lan est actuellement chercheure postdoctorale de l’École Pratique des Hautes Études, au laboratoire GSRL. Elle travaille au projet collaboratif international « Chinese Religious Text Authority » (CRTA), qui vise à décrire de façon systématique l’ensemble des textes religieux en langue chinoise.

Elle est titulaire d’un doctorat en philosophie (sinologie), obtenu à l’Université de Wurtzbourg en 2023.
